Government allows overseas Pakistani duty free import

Government of Pakistan in a recent notification has allowed overseas Pakistani to import duty free hybrid vehicles if they meet their requirement. According to a recent notification issued by the government of Pakistan those Pakistani having foreign exchange remittance card that send or remit approx $ 100,000/- in two years are eligible to import up to 3000cc hybrid vehicle in Pakistani.
Currently import of cars is only allowed to overseas Pakistani under baggage, gift or transfer of residence scheme.

The sole purpose of this is to felicitate overseas Pakistanis that are helping the government remit Dollars to Pakistan.
