Savaree Car Sharing App Launched In Pakistan

Pakistan is the sixth largest country by population  and means of transport are getting better day by day but traveling on bus is considered dangerous as bus drivers race with eachother on competition to reach before the other to catch more passengers on return.

CNG is now available 7 days a week but timming are just 6hrs a day, which results in long queus.
I lived in Lahore for about 30 years and traveling on bus has always been a headache. One thing has always helped me travelling inside lahore is by calling a friend who is on his way to college and getting along with him to reach the destination.
Here is a good news for all those students who travel frequently and are fed up of traveling by bus.
Students from LUMS have designed an app which will help you overcome the menace of public transport.Idea behind this app is very simple.
Lets assume you are traveling from DHA Lahore to Islamabad and in a country of 20 Crore people there is a great chance that if not hundred dozen of people are traveling from DHA to Islamabad. This app lets you connect with those traveling on car.
This app will help you connect with those. As Some people don't like traveling alone. So this would help them get along with someone and on the other hand you will get a chance to travel for free :)
Now the problem here is why would anyone who does not know you let you sit in his car,you coud be a thief?
This app connects you with your college friends your colleagues which puts  fear to rest.
Founder of the app "Qasim Zafar" Talking to express tribune said "Carpooling isn't very popular in pakistan as most of us live in fear and suspicion, but carpooling with friends and colleagues puts fear to rest"
Currently App requires your CNIC number and we are hoping of forming some collaboration with NADRA

App can be downloaded from Google play store for Free
Launch date: Monday April 14

How To Avoid Speed Camera On Motorway In Pakistan

I have a vast experience of travelling on motorway. To my luck i have never ever been challaned on the motorway because of over speeding. If you follow certain rules you will never get a ticket on motorway.  1.Speed limit for LVT is 120Km/hr and we all think that crossing this limit will result in a ticket on motorway, but it is not the case.Motorway police gives a discount of 10% percent. They will never stop you for over speeding if you are travelling at 120-130Km/hr or even 132km/hr,but as soon as you reach 133km/hr they will definately stop you.  So the first thing to do is remain under 132km/hr.Don't you worry i have experimented it many times and confirmed it from one of my uncle who is in motorway police. Probability of escaping ticket :- 100% 2. Speed gun detects your speed as soon as you come under its view, but for the accuracy, speed gun has to stay on your car for at least 93-100 feet .So as soon as you see a speed camera ,slow down.
