Chicken Biryani Recipe

Ingredients :

  1. Chicken pieces 3/4kg
  2. Rice 2kg
  3. yoghurt 1 cup
  4. Onion 3 large,sliced
  5. Ginger paste 1 tsp
  6. Garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  7. Green chili paste 1tsp
  8. Tomato Puree 1/2 cup
  9. Red chili powder 2tsp
  10. turmeric powder 1tsp
  11. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  12. Garam masala powder 2tsp
  13. cumin powder (roasted) 1tsp
  14. Milk 1/2 cup
  15. Saffron a pinch
  16. Water 3 1/2 cups
  17. Green coriander leaves 2tsp chopped
  18. Oil 7tsp
  19. Salt as Required
How to cook Chicken Biryani


Make a mixture with tomato yughurt, green chilli paste, puree ,ginger, red

chilli powder, garlic paste,roasted cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam

masala powder, coriander powder and salt.

2.Marinate the chicken with same mixture and wait for 3 to 4 hr

3.Fry Onions in oil till they turn golden brown

4.Now Add the merinated chicken and cook it for 10mins

5.Now add the rice with 3 1/2 cup of water and add milk and safroon

6.At the end add chicken pieces and Cardamom powder along with the marinade.

7.Mix all of it gently and cook in the pressure cooker for one wistle.

Here you go delicious Biryani is ready to serve..
