When i first saw Hafeez i was confident that we have found a gem of a batsman who can bowl aswell. You cannot call him a part time bowler ,he was a specialist off spinner .But at that time he didnt had the experience and composure to sustain the intense pressure. That was his and ours hard luck that he didnt survive .But then he made a comeback last year and since then he has been our best and most consistent player .He had a brilliant England series then played brialliantly in U.A.E against SA.
Then came world cup he played some good cricket with both bat and bowl but i cannot forgive him for a shot he played in semi final against India.
Now after WI ,Irish and Zim series i can easily say that he is our best palyer in all three formats
In 2011 he averages more than 44 with the bat and less than 30 with the bowl .Now he is 29 he is at the peak of his career he is experience enough to survive at this level
Hafeez played well
